OKBike Mechanic is a technology platform that connects customers seeking two-wheeler maintenance and repair services with independent mechanics who offer these services. OKBike Mechanic does not provide mechanical services directly and is not an employer of the mechanics listed on the platform.

3. User Accounts

To use certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to maintain the security of your account credentials. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Mechanic Partners

Mechanics who register on the platform are independent contractors. They are responsible for:

• Providing their own tools, equipment, and transportation.
• Ensuring they possess the necessary skills and certifications to perform requested repairs.
• Maintaining appropriate insurance coverage.
• Complying with all applicable local laws and regulations.

5. Customer Responsibilities

Customers using the platform agree to:

• Provide accurate details regarding their vehicle and required service.
• Ensure a safe working environment for the mechanic at the service location.
• Pay the agreed-upon rates for services completed.
• Inspect the completed work before accepting vehicle handover.

6. Payments and Rates

Service rates are transparently displayed before booking. Payments are processed securely through our designated third-party payment gateway. Mechanics agree to the platform commission structure, and customers agree to pay for the services requested and approved.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, OKBike Mechanic shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data, or other intangible losses arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service or any services performed by independent mechanics.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Karnataka, India, without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law. Any legal actions or proceedings arising under these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in Bangalore, Karnataka.
